How it

  • We start out by reading your Building Management System (BMS) data from your IP devices or server via supported protocols.
  • A software gateway is then installed on your existing BMS workstation, server, or virtual machine.
  • An HTTPS outbound only connection is established where your data is securely pushed out to your cloud.

  • We then identify the equipment in your building using classifications, variables, and point types to enable the Fault Detection & Diagnostic (FDD) process.
  • Your equipment is then modeled as a digital twin in the Clockworks Analytics platform. Our partnership with Clockworks is a key component of Gardiner Data Services, enabling us to bring the most powerful building analytics engine in the world to every client.

  • By modeling your building system data, we can better identify faults and diagnose any issues in a way that’s consistent and in a machine-readable format. This enables our analytics to scale up without relying on any human translators

  • Diagnostics is the second D in FDD. Unlike traditional HVAC alarms that alert you into reactive mode, by taking it a step further and diagnosing the problem, we’re able to identify the root cause to help building teams spend less time troubleshooting issues and more time fixing them. And better yet, prevent them from happening again in the future!
  • Gardiner's team of analytics engineers, building automation experts and mechanical service technicians review, validate and prioritize all diagnostics prior to a task being created, ensuring that your analytics program doesn't just replicate the sea of BAS alarms that you are already likely seeing.

  • Armed with a prioritized list of your most pressing issues, our team will get to work. Some issues we may be able to address remotely. Others, we’ll field verify and agree on a course of action. A number of issues, we’ll be able to correct on the spot.
  • The power of Gardiner ds is in our flexibility. The diagnostics and tasks provide a framework to work the way YOU think you can best make progress in your building, whether it's our team doing the work, your team or even another outside source.
